The Prior Learning Assessment policy at EC3 enables students to receive college credit for non-academic experiences such as employment, workplace training, and military training among others.
To receive specific course credit, students may be asked to provide a portfolio of work or certifications verifying completion of training, knowledge, and skills. Students may also be asked to perform skills that are routinely taught in academic courses to determine their level of knowledge and skills.
