Students attending Erie County Community College (EC3) are now able to transfer their credits to Lake Erie College (Painesville, Ohio). The agreement between the two colleges provides students the opportunity to transfer in at junior standing once they have completed their degree in either Associate of Arts, Associate of Applied Business, or Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice.

“We are working diligently to ensure our students are being provided with opportunities should they choose to continue their studies,” says Guy Goodman, Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs. “The beauty of community college is having these [agreements] set up so our students have smooth transitions to our four-year educational partners. We look forward to working with Lake Erie College on doing just that.”

This marks the fifth articulation agreement between the community college and four-year institutions. Other notable agreements include Robert Morris University, PennWest Edinboro and Slippery Rock University.
