Erie County Community College of Pennsylvania (EC3PA) is America’s newest community college. Position Summary

Working closely with the Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs, the Data Systems Coordinator initiates, plans, and oversees several specific projects across the institution. The primary role for this position includes managing the functional use, integration of, and interdependence between the institution’s information system (Workday) and other institutional platforms. This position will oversee the creation and management of EC3’s data warehouse and be responsible for receiving, researching, and developing appropriate responses to data requests from members of the college.

Requirements Qualifications

  • Associate degree and 2 or more years of professional office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to plan, organize and manage time while responding in a timely manner to requests which requires flexibility and prioritization skills.
  • High degree of initiative and follow-through to see projects to completion.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a collaborative team member.
  • Knowledge of and experience working within the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Confidentiality to data and information is critical.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience working with traditional higher education information systems, such as PeopleSoft, Banner, Workday or other information systems.
