Bob has over 22 years of Human Resources experience. Bob earned his undergraduate degree from the Pennsylvania State University in University Park, PA, and went on to earn his Master of Business Administration degree from Gannon University in Erie, PA, concentrating in Human Resources Management.
Bob started in the Operations Department of Marine Bank and moved to Human Resources after Marine Bank became PNC Bank. Bob held management positions in Employee Relations and Department Administration for over 10 years with PNC. His last assignment with PNC was as a Senior Employee Relations Manager for PNC Credit Card Company in Charlotte, NC. He then accepted the opportunity to become the Director of Human Resources at FNB Corporation (First National Bank) and retired 13 years later in the position of Director of HR Administration.
During his career, Bob worked in the areas of orientation programs, HR training, tuition and scholarship programs, policy administration, employee handbook development, and HR internal audit and compliance.
Bob was active in community relations throughout his career. He served on the Board of Directors for Family Services of Northwest PA, the Financial Services Advisory Board for Southwest PA Workforce Development, was a volunteer for the United Way of Mercer County and assisted with HR policy development for the Community Food Warehouse of Mercer County. Bob served as the United Way Chairman for Employee Giving while at FNB Corporation.
When Bob retired from FNB Corporation, he worked as an HR Consultant for both Premier HR Services in Hermitage, PA and J.L. Nick and Associates HR Consulting in Erie, PA. Bob currently serves as a mentor for SCORE, a non-profit small business support program, assisting new businesses.
